Shaping the Future of Latin American Youth in the UK
At Latin Community Network (LCN), it’s our mission to provide a brighter future for Latin American youth living in London and around the UK. Through workshops, advocacy programmes, seminars, motivational learning opportunities and one-to-one mentoring, we develop the skills that will help them thrive in the years ahead.
Mentoring Programme
No young person should be without a friend in a time of need. That’s why our one-to-one mentoring sits at the heart of what we do. By working directly with young people to offer support, encouragement and inspiration, our mentors forge a genuine bond with their young mentees. They help them develop life goals, reflect on their past experiences, work towards gainful employment and tackle intimidating challenges in life.
Lectures and Talks
LCN hosts a range of hand-picked, passionate guests and public speakers for talks on life, careers, money, wellbeing and more. They show that there are countless paths to success and happiness, and that opportunities come in all shapes and sizes. From academics and professionals, to motivational speakers and public figures, LCN’s speakers offer practical advice and guidance based on real-world experience.

Workshops
Alongside giving talks on their lives and areas of expertise, LCN welcomes guests for discussion workshops with their young audience. During each exploratory session, young people are encouraged to engage with each other and the speaker, asking questions, outlining what they’ve learnt and sharing what they disagree with in a constructive, supportive environment.
For young people, these workshops are essential for solidifying the wisdom the teachers impart; they boost confidence through reflection and self-expression, and they help dramatically with their personal and professional development.
